• About Mafia Mundeer :

Mafia Mundeer was a group of famous Indian Punjabi and Hip Hop Singers leaded by the famous Indian Pop Singer Yo Yo Honey Singh . Yo Yo Honey Singh united this crew because he wanted to spread the taste of Urban Punjabi and Pop Music in India . As Yo Yo Honey Singh was a futuristic musician and he also had a great knowledge of Urban Music , He created a very talented team which was named “ Mafia Mundeer “ . So in this article we are going to provide you a brief information about how this group was started, worked togetherand about all the Controversies with Mafia Mundeer.

• Beginning Of Mafia Mundeer :  

Nearly in 2002 , Yo Yo Honey Singh was working as a Music Producer in Punjabi Music Industry. After some time Badshah meeted Yo Yo Honey Singh and both decided to work together because both have a good knowledge of Urban Music. At that time, Badshah was working very well as a Lyricist and Honey Singh was also very good in Music Production. Both of them worked together and made so many songs. On the other hand , three friends : Ikka , Lil Golu and Raftaar were also writing songs and recording them with low budgets and group of Ikka, Lil Golu and Raftaar was known as Black Street Desi’s . Ikka , Lil Golu and Raftaar were making songs by downloading music beats from internet and mixing them with vocals in low budget. Black Street Desi’s were uploading these songs on a Social Media Platform named as Orkut. One Day Yo Yo Honey Singh accidently noticed Black Street Desi’s on Orkut and Approached them for Meeting . After that message all three Ikka , Lil Golu and Raftaar visited Yo Yo Honey Singh in His Studio and and that time Yo Yo Honey Singh was a very popular name in Punjabi Music Industry. Yo Yo Honey Singh approached them to work with him he also provided a good platform to them for recording songs and writing songs . He also guided them about Commercial songs and Underground Hip Hop Songs. He also guided them that how to record songs , mixing beats and much more. This was the starting of Mafia Mundeer group with a lot of talents and Struggles.

• Mafia Mundeer Records and Songs :

Now five artist were in a group : Yo Yo Honey Singh, Badshah, Ikka , Lil Golu and Raftaar and Yo Yo Honey Singh now decided to give this crew a name and he decided the name “ Mafia Mundeer ” . Now all the songs from this group were released under the label Mafia Mundeer Records . Prominently Ikka , Lil Golu and Raftaar were  working as lyricist and Yo Yo Honey Singh and Badshah were singing. They released a lot of tracks like Get Up Jawani, Dope Shope , Aachko Machko,etc and also created a lot of tracks which are not released yet. As the time passed , more artists like Alfaaz, JStar, Money Aujla also joined the group and worked with Yo Yo Honey Singh.

• Fights and Controversies in Mafia Mundeer :

As we all know that a group of people have a lot of thoughts, Ideas, thinking, Mindsets which matches with someone and also didn’t matches with someones . Same happened with Mafia Mundeer. The first dispute was occurred between Yo Yo Honey Singh and Raftaar about the song Dope Shope. According to Raftaar , the Rap part of song Dope Shope was written by Raftaar but he didn’t get any credit and his scenes were also removed from the Video.  After this dispute, Raftaar left the group and decided to go solo. After sometime , a song “ Get Up Jawani ” was released which was sung by Badshah and Yo Yo Honey Singh and After the release of the song , Badshah also lefted  the crew excusing that he was also not given the credits. After this, Ikka also lefted the group and released single tracks. Yo Yo Honey Singh was very hurted but he didn’t loosed the hope and continued the group with Lil Golu, JStar, Alfaaz and Money Aujla. After this, In mid 2014 Yo Yo Honey Singh faced a disease called Bipolar Disorder which breaked the group totally . After that all the artist decided to go with single songs and all signed with the Labels . Today everyone is doing very well and all are the main pillars of Indian Pop Music and Punjabi Music .

No, Mafia Mundeer is no more united as a group because every artist of this group is now working as a Solo artist and are signed with different labels .
